Steve James has been a diver since 1987 and began diving rebreathers in 1994 whilst in the Royal Australian Navy. He has safely conducted over 3,500 dives including over 700 dives on the Draeger LAR V, A5800 , Draeger Dolphin, AP Inspiration, Jetsam Classic and Sport KISS and the ISC Megalodon rebreathers.

Steve is a keen deep wreck and cave diver and became an instructor several years ago purely to help promote Rebreather diving in Australia. After diving many rebreathers on the market he chose to focus on the KISS and Megalodon CCRs. Before purchasing it is well worth you while to speak with him and find out why... Both companies have a strong ethical grounding and believe in their products and looking after their customers. He believes strongly in doing things properly and has gained his qualifications by seeking out the best Instructors, and more importantly for you, Instructor Trainers to learn from worldwide. When shopping for an instructor it is vital for people to find out how and where their Instructor earned their qualifications. Steve is endorsed by the manufacturer for every course he teaches. Sadly others are not.
